Freebirds World Burrito to Open in Palo Alto and Walnut Creek, Calif. by Mid-Jan. 2013

SAN FRANCISCO (Dec. 12, 2012)  SRS Real Estate Partners announced today that Freebirds World Burrito will be opening two new stores in the San Francisco Bay Area in the next few weeks.

The 2,846-square-foot Walnut Creek, Calif. store will open on Dec. 17, and is located in the Geary Marketplace neighborhood retail center at 1512 Geary Blvd. The center is anchored by regional grocer Sprouts Farmer’s Market.  Other tenants include The Habit Burger Grill, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Supercuts, Subway, and L.A. Nails.

The 2,600-square-foot Palo Alto, Calif. store will open on Jan. 10, and is located at 2305 El Camino Real. It is conveniently located 4 blocks from the Stanford University campus. In addition to the Walnut Creek and Palo Alto stores, other San Francisco Bay Area Freebirds locations are in Foster City and San Jose, Calif.

Freebirds World Burrito is a fast-casual food chain with over 90 locations nationwide, owned by the Tavistock Group private equity firm of Emeryville, Calif.
