The CCAM is the only California-specific designation in the industry that certifies a community manager’s knowledge and expertise in California law, ethical standards and best practices in governing homeowners associations.
Christine Moynihan with One Rincon Hill Association in San Francisco; Karen Atkins with Homeowners Association Services in San Ramon; Evelyn Dy and Francis Serrano with CitiScape Property Management Group LLC in San Francisco; Vincent Laherrere with First Equity Property Management in San Mateo; Erin Ide with the Helsing Group Inc., ACMF, in San Ramon; Norman Hall with Chandler Properties in San Francisco; Brian Lee with Clear Homeowners Association Management in Pittsburg; and Marni Lopez with Prometheus Real Estate Group in Cupertino were awarded the CCAM designation during the first quarter of 2015.
“The field of community association management is extraordinarily challenging as a result of new laws and new technology that are impacting homeowners and homeowners associations on a daily basis,” said David Zepponi, president and CEO of CACM. “The educational curriculum required to achieve the CCAM designation is designed to be rigorous. The goal is to prepare the candidate to be as proficient as possible in a variety of areas including budget analysis, compliance with California law, contract management, day-to-day communications with homeowners and creative problem-solving. Congratulations to each of these professionals for their commitment to the homeowners associations they serve and the association management industry overall.”
Based in Laguna Hills, Calif., CACM is the only community association management organization in the nation to offer a California-only educational program leading to the designations of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) and Master of Community Association Management (MCAM®) for industry professionals.
