National Association of Women Business Owners California Names Jennifer Dizon President

San Francisco – Hood & Strong LLP, a leading Bay Area accounting and business consulting firm, announced that Jennifer Dizon, audit and advisory partner, was elected president of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) California for 2014-2015. NAWBO is the preeminent destination association for CEOs, entrepreneurs and executive officers of diverse, women-owned businesses.

Dizon is based in Hood & Strong’s San Jose office, overseeing audit, accounting and tax services to clients in the manufacturing, distribution, technology, start-up, construction, real estate, and employee benefit market sectors. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, she has earned a reputation for offering a practical approach to her clients’ audit and accounting needs in today’s regulated environment. In addition to her role as president of NAWBO California, Dizon is an active member of her Silicon Valley NAWBO Chapter as well as a member of Women’s President Organization.  She earned an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and a B.S. from Notre Dame de Namur University.
